We are looking for an experienced Customs Specialist who is self-driven and result-oriented, a team player, and able to work across teams.

Responsibilities

  • Review UK Customs export and import documentation and CI/PL/BL
  • Some data entry required
  • Ability to review documentation and note issues to reduce transactional errors
  • Ensure the accuracy of information by following various databases
  • Contact clients/carriers for missing documentation/information necessary for customs clearance
  • Release shipments of all modes of transport with emphasis on cross-border truck
  • Input HTS commodity code classification codes if necessary
  • Complying with trade controls such as IPAFFS, Rex numbers, EUR1 certificates, etc.

  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of HMRC (His Majesty’s Revenue and Customs) rules & regulations an asset
  • Diploma in Supply Chain or related customs program an asset
