What is AES Filing?

An AES Filing is the electronic submission of Electronic Export Information (EEI) through the Automated Export System for U.S. exports valued over $2,500 per Schedule B classification or any export requiring an export license. The filing captures details about the exporter, consignee, commodity, value, and destination, and CBP uses it to enforce U.S. export laws.
