Antidumping Duty (ADD)

What is Antidumping Duty (ADD)?

Antidumping duty is a special tariff applied to imports sold in the U.S. at “less than fair value” — a price below the seller’s home market price or cost of production — to remedy material injury to U.S. industry. ADD rates are case-by-case and can be very high. Importers should always check whether their HTS line and country of origin trigger an active ADD order.
