What is Drawback?

Drawback is a CBP program that refunds 99% of duties, taxes, and fees on imported goods that are subsequently exported (or destroyed under customs supervision). Drawback comes in several forms — manufacturing, unused merchandise, rejected merchandise — and properly executed it can return very large sums to importers.
