What is EEI (Electronic Export Information)?

Electronic Export Information is the data filed in the Automated Export System (AES) for U.S. exports valued over $2,500 per Schedule B classification, or for any export requiring a license. EEI captures the parties, commodity, value, and destination, and is the U.S. equivalent of an export declaration.
