What is a Pallet?

A pallet is the flat platform on which goods are stacked, wrapped, and moved as a unit. Standard sizes vary by region (the 48×40-inch GMA pallet dominates U.S. supply chains), and pallet count is a routine field on commercial invoices and packing lists.
