What is a Post-Entry Amendment?

A post-entry amendment is a correction made to an entry summary after it has been filed but before liquidation, using a Post-Summary Correction (PSC). PEAs are how importers fix classification, valuation, or origin errors and recover overpaid duty without having to file a protest.
